The Werner family participated in the DC Area Shatterproof 5K on October 5th, 2019. We had the largest team there and also raised more than $22,000. This year, Rick Werner was invited to speak to the attendees as part of the pre-race program. Stephen Werner accompanied him to the stage, carrying a poster sized picture of his beloved brother Jamie, with their dog Jak. Here is a video of Rick’s speech.
